Cintaku di Rumah Susun

(title translation: Love in the Flats)

Satirising the lives of residents in public housing flats, we meet Somad, a brewery worker who is not allowed by his grandfather to go out on a date. But Badrun keeps giving him tips on how to get a wife yet Somad still has no success. Zuleha, another neighbor in the apartment, who is actually the mistress of Gandun, the bandit, also tries to help. Other neighbours include the strident union leader, Asmuni, and a widow, Mastun, who is constantly late in paying her rent. Somad is finally is able to attract Enka, the daughter of Gandun, who half-heartedly allows his daughter to date Somad, since Badrun knows some secret about him. When Sandrak, his bandit partner, escapes from jail, he asks for his girlfriend, Zuleha, but Gandun pretends not to know anything about her. Unfortunately, Sandrak has a crush on Enka. Somad, who is desperate, gets a wrong impression on Enka's behaviour. Somad eventually gets another girl, who is also his neighbour. When Sandrak is about to take Zuleha away, Gandun stops him. Sandrak is arrested by guards, for making a scene and his gun accidentally goes off.
