Bintang Peladjar

(title translation: Star Student)

Ida Rosita is known to be a smart student whose test scores are always high. But this changes after her mother, Ermina, passes away. Her father, Kusuma, becomes temperamental and angry when Ida tries to look after him. Her distress causes her school grades to drop. After learning the reason, her teacher advises Dr. Yunus to talk to Kusuma, who then realises his mistake. Ida recovers and her test score becomes the highest, awarding her the title, “Bintang Pelajar” or “Star Student”.
