Everyday, Salam’s wife, Jaenah, scolds him for not making enough money. As he struggles to make more money from his workshop, Salam falls into the habit of playing lottery. One day, a thief leaves his stolen loot in Salam’s house yard. Although his wife is strongly against it, Salam returns the money to the rightful owner. Poverty does not confuse Salam’s good heart. At the end, his nobility inspires his wife, Jaenah, to realize that good deeds will bring good fortune.
