Air Mata Ibu

(title translation: Tears of a Mother)

By selling illegal products, a family becomes rich quickly. Their first son, Akhmad, marries a wife who likes to nag, second son, Idris, marries a feisty woman, and youngest daughter, Atikah, marries a poor young man. But the third son, Sumadi, is an honest person and when the police suspect his father’s illegal business, he decides to take the blame. While Sumadi is in prison, his father is tortured by guilt and dies. His wife ends up in a nursing home but once he is released, Sumadi takes care of things. The children ask for forgiveness and are reunited with their mother.
