Ayu dan Ayu

Triayu, a doctor, who is attending a seminar in Bali, helps Ayu Pidada, a dancer, to give birth. Then Johan, a reporter, offers Ayu a job as a dancer in Jakarta. So Ayu goes to Jakarta with her son, Agung, where she meets Dolf Damanik, the man she has loved for 12 years. He is the father of Agung, whom she gave birth to seven years ago. But he is also the husband of Triayu, and has two daughters with her. They meet when Ayu is invited to Triayu’s home. Seeing Ayu’s reaction to her husband, Triayu becomes suspicious. Dolf then admits to his relationship with Ayu when they were university students, and how Ayu suffered to raise Agung alone. Ayu even rejects Johan’s love. Then Ayu asks for Dolf to acknowledge Agung as his son. This widens the crack in Triayu and Dolf’s relationship. But then Ayu is diagnosed with terminal Leukemia. Triayu then takes Agung into her arms when Ayu dies.
