Ayu Genit

Juli (Dian Nitami), a village girl whose boyfriend has broken her heart, runs away to  Jakarta. Joe (Jeffry Waworuntu) almost runs over her in the street and provides her with a place to stay in his home. This upsets Joe’s girlfriend Lisa (Ayu Lestari), who complains to her father, whom Joe works for. Joe is forced to explain who Juli is, and the father is understanding because Joe is his best worker. Lisa refuses to understand. Especially when, as time passes, Juli and Joe actually do fall in love. Lisa, dressed and made-up like a city girl, seems to become increasingly beautiful. She does everything possible to force Juli to leave and finally succeeds. Joe is so angry about this that he quits his job. He goes after Juli and finds the bus she is on.  They embrace each other in the car, causing a long line of traffic to form behind them.
